Warrior + Ele Shaman + Warlock + Disc Priest + Holy Paladin
Also known as: 2346 (Warrior/Ele/Lock)
Overview
The default 5v5 template: Mortal Strike pressure, Elemental burst on demand, Warlock crowd control and dispel protection, and a double-healer core that is very hard to break.
Playstyle
Warrior and Warlock keep constant pressure while Elemental Shaman waits for a Bloodlust or Elemental Mastery window. Two healers give you time; you win by lining up the burst on one target when the enemy healers are controlled.
Why It Works
Mortal Strike halves the value of enemy healing, the Warlock provides Fear and Curse of Tongues to slow enemy healers, and Elemental Shaman turns any stun window into a kill. Two healers with strong external cooldowns let the team ignore a lot of incoming pressure.
Win Conditions
- Bloodlust plus Elemental Mastery burst on a Mortal Strike target
- Fear and Hammer of Justice on both enemy healers before the swap
- Mana Burn the enemy Priest or Paladin out of the game
- Force trinkets early, then kill through the second control chain
Strengths
- Very high burst with Bloodlust and Elemental Mastery
- Two healers plus Blessing of Protection and Pain Suppression
- Fear, Hammer of Justice and Psychic Scream cover multiple healers
- Mortal Strike keeps every kill window open
Weaknesses
- Elemental Shaman is the obvious training target
- Weak against comps that spread Viper Sting and Mana Burn on two healers
- Little mobility if the enemy splits the map
- Depends on clean cooldown calls; five voices can become noise
Tips & Tricks
Call one kill target per burst window and stack every cooldown on it
Warlock keeps Fear on the enemy healers, not on the kill target
Paladin saves Blessing of Protection for the Shaman, Priest uses Pain Suppression on the Warrior
Shaman drops Grounding and Tremor before the enemy opener, not after
Countered By
- Mirror comps with a faster opener
- Hunter or double-Warlock teams that drain both healers
